We offer a five piece as standard. There are three options for this.
- Just folk - Violin / mandolin, acoustic guitar, double bass, drums, and male vocals.
- Just electric - Electric guitars and bass, drums, and male vocals.
- Both - All instruments above.
The five piece line-up will always be Dave, Ollie, Andy, Chris and Ben unless something crazy comes up for one of them last minute. 99% of the time it's the five of us and we rarely perform without at least four original members. The band you see is the band you get!!
We also now offer other options including horns, and additional male and female vocals. Options are...
- 7-piece with additional male and female vocals.
- 8-piece with horns - trumpet, trombone, and sax.
- 10-piece with everything!!!
Videos including horns, extra vocals, folk and electric below. Get in touch to ask about which line-up will suit your event best.

Gents ... what can we say. You made an incredible day even more amazing & everyone loved you guys from start to finish. The first song was absolutely incredible (even if it was JLS for the 🤵🏻) & made me cry happy tears (which was a theme of the day!) and we just cannot thank you enough. Hope you had an amazing weekend of gigs & thank you from the bottom of our hearts for joining us in celebrating getting hitched. Love Mr & Mrs L 💕♥️🤘

Chris, Ollie and all of Mister Kanish...not forgetting the horns! An amazing set at Cafe de Paris in Soho for our company Christmas Party. No-one left the dance floor and they didn’t want you to finish! Amazing for a corporate event.

Hi Guys!! WOW!!!!! I don't even know if I have the words to tell you how lucky we feel to have had Mister Kanish at our wedding!!! I don't think I could ever have imagined having such an incredible night... From our first dance to the last minute of the night the dance floor was full and there wasn't a single person that didn't comment on how incredible you guys were!! We have never had so much fun and are absolutely over the moon that you were a massive part of a day that we will never ever forget. Messages are still flooding in about how amazing you were and I think we are half way through planning another party just to have you guys back!!! We didn't want it to end... I really can't thank you enough... You really were the highlight of our day and everyone else's that joined us!! Thank you so so so much!!! Best Wishes and we hope to see you again in the future!! Mister Kanish played at our wedding in July 2014 and our friends still talk about it! They did both their classic/vintage style and electric rocky style stuff and both were awesome! If we did it all again booking this band would be top of my 'to do' list!

Highly, highly recommend Mister Kanish. They had the dance floor at our wedding packed and jumping from start to finish. Really versatile, high energy and it was also great to have the acoustic set outside for our ceremony and drinks reception. Nothing but kind words from all our guests and they were a pleasure to deal with as well. Thanks again guys!

What can we say?! We knew you were going to be amazing and had pretty high expectations for you, but you exceeded them all. We had the best day of our lives and you guys played a big part in that. Everyone kept saying how much they enjoyed it! Even our parents friends who said they had no idea of the words, but couldn’t help but dance away. We didn’t think it could get any better until you played ‘one last song...one last song’ the acoustic version of don’t look back in anger. That’s a very long winded way of saying thank you to you and the guys. We are so grateful
