We offer a five piece as standard. There are three options for this.
- Just folk - Violin / mandolin, acoustic guitar, double bass, drums, and male vocals.
- Just electric - Electric guitars and bass, drums, and male vocals.
- Both - All instruments above.
The five piece line-up will always be Dave, Ollie, Andy, Chris and Ben unless something crazy comes up for one of them last minute. 99% of the time it's the five of us and we rarely perform without at least four original members. The band you see is the band you get!!
We also now offer other options including horns, and additional male and female vocals. Options are...
- 7-piece with additional male and female vocals.
- 8-piece with horns - trumpet, trombone, and sax.
- 10-piece with everything!!!
Videos including horns, extra vocals, folk and electric below. Get in touch to ask about which line-up will suit your event best.

Amazing set at Oktoberfest Worcester on Saturday night. Loved it and told them several times! Made my day!

Absolutely brilliant. I half bullied my co-hosts in to picking Mister Kanish and had to be even more persuasive about adding on the horns, but so, so happy we had them. We took the decision to leave the repertoire to them and to mix things up to keep everyone dancing. They completely made the party and we would definitely recommend them. From first enquiry, through two sets, a brilliant encore and efficient packing up, all of the band have been so easy and professional to deal with. Nothing but fabulous feedback from our guests.

There are no words to describe how kind, thoughtful and incredibly talented this group of gentlemen are. From enquiring about booking them, to learning and playing our first dance outside, to rocking the dance floor with everything from Britney to The Killers, Mister Kanish were everything you could wish for from a wedding band, and more! We are eternity grateful! Thank you so very much, from the new Mr & Mrs Taylor-Holt!

What can we say?! We knew you were going to be amazing and had pretty high expectations for you, but you exceeded them all. We had the best day of our lives and you guys played a big part in that. Everyone kept saying how much they enjoyed it! Even our parents friends who said they had no idea of the words, but couldn’t help but dance away. We didn’t think it could get any better until you played ‘one last song...one last song’ the acoustic version of don’t look back in anger. That’s a very long winded way of saying thank you to you and the guys. We are so grateful

Mister Kanish were playing at a wedding where I was doing the photography last weekend and can honestly say they were brilliant. They played such a wide range of songs from different decades. The style, vocals and instruments were all fantastic! Great bunch of guys too and really engaged with the guests, highly recommended 🙂

Hey guys!! Love your selfie vid from our wedding in Wiltshire 😀 Just wanted to let you know that I've had nothing but amazing comments from all the guests. You certainly kept the dance floor full and overflowing right until the end! In fact lots of people told me that they thought you were the best wedding band they'd ever heard and that they could have carried on dancing to your music for hours! We felt the same and were absolutely thrilled to have you as part of our big day. It was fantastic to have so many people dancing including the older generation. Everyone properly let their hair down thanks to your awesome performance. You really made the party! Thank you ever so much.

Dear Ollie, and all the MK boys! From the bottom of our hearts Sally and I (Merriscourt, Sept 30th, 2017), would like to say an incredible thank you for helping to make our wedding day so special. We'd be lying if we didn't say that we had high expectations - having watched 'all' your videos online! - but you truly blew us away. You guys are good for every five star review and I'm not embarrassed to admit I was even a little star-struck! Parklife and the Calvin Harris songs we asked for we're an absolute highlight, but nothing could top the finale of multiple encores finishing with Oasis' 'Don't Look Back In Anger', with all our guests circling us and coming in at the end. Possibly the highlight of the entire evening! To any soon-to-be married couples out there looking for a band, then look no further. The lads were friendly, professional, were easy to deal with, sounded incredible, and had everyone talking about them the following day. We genuinely couldn't have asked for more... Sally and I always said how much we wanted the dance-floor filled all night, it was one of our big hopes for the day, and MK made this happen. We hope you had a good time too and, once again, thanks so much. All the best. Ben and Sally McGrath

A massive thank you for Saturday. It was the best day and you guys played a very big part. Booking you was our first bit of Wedmin and we have been excited to see you play ever since - you did not disappoint. Everyone was raving about you on the night and have kept messaging us since to say you were the best band they have heard at a wedding. Your garage mash up was a particularly highlight ("I didn't expect to hear so solid crew in Wiltshire - amazing") and seeing the dance floor in full flow was just what we wanted. The remixes and mash ups all went down a storm and lots of our parents friends also commented on how well you kept all generations happy. Tim even heard a couple of the bridesmaid discussing whether they were too old to become Mister Kanish groupies. A seal of approval if every there was one. We are now trying to work out an excuse to have another party and have you play again!
