With our two distinct styles, our set is well suited to music festivals. We have played several, including Oktoberfest 2017 where we played to over 24,000 beer fans over the course of 2 weekends. We play the folk of Mumford and Sons, mixed with the 90s pop, dance and r'n'b sounds of Montell Jordan, Faithless, and Sisqo, alongside rocking tunes by bands like Oasis, Rage Against The Machines, and The Killers. We're guaranteed to get any crowd on their feet and screaming for more. For the festival stage that requires more we can also add a trio of amazing horn players to the line-up adding some extra brass awesome-ness giving our set elements of ska and Rio style fiesta.
If you require a band of pros who know how to get a crowd going then look no further. Check out some of our live footage below.

These guys are amazing musicians and great entertainers too. I've seen a lot of wedding bands but the set they performed was absolutely perfect for the crowd and the reaction from the dance floor definitely showed they knew how to get the audience dancing and singing along too. Thanks for a fab night. I hope to see you again soon!

Best band I've seen at a wedding EVER! I danced my little heart out! I want to see them again ASAP!

Absolutely brilliant.
I half bullied my co-hosts in to picking Mister Kanish and had to be even more persuasive about adding on the horns, but so, so happy we had them.
We took the decision to leave the repertoire to them and to mix things up to keep everyone dancing. They completely made the party and we would definitely recommend them. From first enquiry, through two sets, a brilliant encore and efficient packing up, all of the band have been so easy and professional to deal with.
Nothing but fabulous feedback from our guests.

Saw you guys at the Oktoberfest in Colchester, great, great band! The Mrs is going to enquire around weddings in the near future!

A bit of a belated review (our wedding was last October), but what can we possibly say. You guys blew our minds once again with your set, and your rendition of Party Hard for our first dance was absolutely perfect.
Thanks again for being part of our day, and giving all our guests the time of their lives for the evening. If anyone is reading this and still questioning whether to hire these guys, what are you doing?! Just book already!!
A massive thank you for Saturday. It was the best day and you guys played a very big part. Booking you was our first bit of Wedmin and we have been excited to see you play ever since - you did not disappoint.
Everyone was raving about you on the night and have kept messaging us since to say you were the best band they have heard at a wedding. Your garage mash up was a particularly highlight ("I didn't expect to hear so solid crew in Wiltshire - amazing") and seeing the dance floor in full flow was just what we wanted. The remixes and mash ups all went down a storm and lots of our parents friends also commented on how well you kept all generations happy.
Tim even heard a couple of the bridesmaid discussing whether they were too old to become Mister Kanish groupies. A seal of approval if every there was one.
We are now trying to work out an excuse to have another party and have you play again!

Non-Stop Party Set
We can play for a full 90mins with our non-stop party set made up of medleys, stand alone tunes, and mashups, moving between styles as we go. The setlist is ideal for a festival crowd and encompasses, modern folk, 90s dance and hip hop, classic sing-along anthems, and chart hits that everyone will know and love.
Mix of Two Styles
We offer both a folk inspired Mumford and sons style with violin, mandolin, acoustic guitars and double bass, and also an electrified rock style both perfect on their own or equally awesome when mixed. Our repertoire contains a mix of classics and contemporary tunes. The sound is perfect for a festival as it's like having a main support and headliner all in one.
Horn section
Everyone loves brass. Our awesome horn section, made up of trumpet, trombone, and sax, can be added to Mister Kanish for any festival booking. This gives our usual setlist a hint of Rio Carnival blended with a ska skankathon all rolled into one. Highly recommended for bigger stages!
